“I LOVE PARIS”

“I Love Paris” galas were initiated in 1990 to honor outstanding Parisians who have made significant contributions to Paris in the areas of education and civic leadership. To date, the Paris Education Foundation has recognized the distinct service of 31 individuals. Funds raised from “I Love Paris” are used to create an endowed scholarship in the honoree’s name and to support ongoing activities of the foundation.

Each year the foundation provides student scholarships, honoraria, teacher grants, and teaching excellence awards. In 2005, the Paris Education Foundation established a grant program from an “I Love Paris” endowment fund to help Paris High School teachers advance their education in order to meet the requirements to teach a high school dual credit course offered through Paris Junior College.
